Welcome to "Cinema Herald". My aim is to bring movie reviews to a somewhat different level. I don't know about you guys but I'm sick and tired of Critics who dissect a movie to bits. Who cares about all that deep stuff, sometimes you just want to know if you'll be entertained or not. Is it worth me spending $10? Now don't get me wrong, sometimes when we watch a movie, it does require us to put on our thinking caps and I'll do that from time to time depending on the film I review but for the most part, I just want to know if I'm going to have a laugh or a cry or even crap my pants - in other words, will it take my mind off the fact that I'm broke and my rent is due for a few hours? Movies are a public service...they are to help us escape for a few hours and forget that we're overworked and under paid.

Coming Soon: Inception (New Full Length Trailer)

May 8th 2010 02:29
U.S. Release: July 16, 2010
Director: Chris Nolan
Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy

I don't know what to say about "Inception" that can convey how blown away I am - by the trailer, at least. It's mesmerizing, captivating, intriguing and epic! For a while Chris Nolan has kept the plot of the movie under wraps, which is a smart move because audiences love a mystery. Now, as we draw near to the release date we are given tasty bite-sized morsels of what looks like one of the mega-hits of the Summer box office season. This recently released trailer punches us in the face and reveals to us a visually stunning movie that leaves us salivating for more.

What we know now is that "Inception" is a thriller set within the architecture of the mind about a CEO who is involved in a blackmailing scandal.

Leonardo DiCaprio is now officially, IMO, the hardest and most dedicated working man in show business. It is astonishing to me that this man has not won his Oscar yet but I guess in some ways, that's a good thing because it means that we have opportunity to see him crank out more fine performances in quality film.

This movie has now topped my list. July 16, cant get here any faster. I'm already there!
