Academy Award nominated director John Madden (Shakespeare In Love, Killshot, Proof) brings us The Debt, a dramatic thriller based on a screenplay written by Jane Goldman, Matthew Vaughn, and Peter Straughan.
The movie follows three young Israeli Mossad agents in 1965. On a secret mission they capture and kill a notorious Nazi war criminal. Now, thirty years later, a man claiming to be the Nazi has surfaced in the Ukraine and one of the former agents must go back undercover to seek out the truth.
The screenplay was co-written by Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass), Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, Stardust) and Peter Straughn (How To Lose Friends and Alienate People)
Miramax Films seems to be cranking out movies left, right, and center. This opens in December in the states and other release dates are yet TBD.
