Coming Soon: The Killer Inside Me (Trailer)
May 6th 2010 02:14
Category: Coming Soon!, Thriller
U.S. Release: June 18, 2010 (Limited Release)
Director: Michael Winterbottom
Starring: Casey Affleck, Jessica Alba, Kate Hudson, Ned Beatty, Simon Baker, Elias Kotaes, and Bill Pullman
"The Killer Inside Me" - Sheriff Lou Ford (Casey Affleck) has a lot of problems. Woman problems. Law enforcement problems. An ever-growing pile of murder victims in his West Texas jurisdiction. And that he's a sadist, a psychopath, a killer. Suspicion soon begins to fall on Lou, and it's only a matter of time before he runs out of more alibis.
Casey Affleck is underrated as an actor. Here's a guy who has this quiet soft-spoken intensity that can go in all sorts of directions, from goofy, comical, brooding, and down right psycho. Just by looking at him, you'd swear he's the same character but put him in a different setting and he changes right before your eyes. He looks fierce in this movie.
This film has been buzzing since back in November at Sundance - audiences were mixes though, but again if the trailer is anything to go by, I say it looks good - even though it has Kate Hudson in it.
