Coming Soon: Zack Snyder's SUCKER PUNCH (Trailer)
July 27th 2010 02:17
U.S. Release: March 11, 2011
Director: Zack Snyder
Starring: Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish, Jamie Chung, Carla Gugino, Jon Hamm, Scott Glenn and Oscar Isaac
Set in the 1950's, Sucker Punch is a movie about a girl whose evil stepfather has her institutionalized where they plan to perform a lobotomy on her in a matter of days. While there she starts to imagine herself in an alternative reality to hide from the pain and in order to escape she must steal five objects before she is caught by a vile man who plans to deflower her.
Sucker Punch is Zack Snyder's first work that's not based on previous material. As usual his movies are visually impressive but I hope this one is better than The Spirit

Film & TV on DVD
This looks like mindless fun...saw the trailer elsewhere and was thinking of putting it up on my site, then noticed you already posted it.
I like Zack's heavy handed visual style, but I know I shouldn't
What did Snyder have to do with The Spirit?

And thanks for pointing out my error. I seemed to have Zack confused with Frank Miller - again. It's a mistake I keep making.
