Welcome to "Cinema Herald". My aim is to bring movie reviews to a somewhat different level. I don't know about you guys but I'm sick and tired of Critics who dissect a movie to bits. Who cares about all that deep stuff, sometimes you just want to know if you'll be entertained or not. Is it worth me spending $10? Now don't get me wrong, sometimes when we watch a movie, it does require us to put on our thinking caps and I'll do that from time to time depending on the film I review but for the most part, I just want to know if I'm going to have a laugh or a cry or even crap my pants - in other words, will it take my mind off the fact that I'm broke and my rent is due for a few hours? Movies are a public service...they are to help us escape for a few hours and forget that we're overworked and under paid.

Revised: The Making of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Preview Part 1 -3

June 8th 2010 03:50
The trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter And the Deathly Hallows is out and marketing is underway for the final installment of the Potter franchise.

Yesterday NBC began airing a 21 minute special on the "Making of Harry Potter", and the theme park that will open in the Island of Adventure Theme Park in Orlando, Florida. In the clip you get a glimpse of some of the movie along with interviews of the cast and crew. I'll let you bet the judge of what an incredible job construction workers and set designers are doing in recreating the world of Harry Potter so that the millions of fans can experience the magical universe that started with J. K. Rowling in 1997.

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3 - Final

In this final installment - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Voldemort's power is growing. He now has control over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, and Hermione decide to finish Dumbledore's work and find the rest of the Horcruxes to defeat Voldemort.

I'm probably the only person on this earth who hasn't read the books but will get to them at some point in my life.

You're not alone, Deni. I've never read the books either.

Hey Matt, I think once the hype dies down, if it ever dies down then I'll read them. I'm just weary of being disappointed.

Cheers,
Deni
